- Description
- A Spanish-language printed Register of Slaves form [2704] for an enslaved person identified as Eustaquio, completed with handwritten black ink and affixed with a stamp. The heading reading [REGISTRO DE ESCLAVOS] is cut off at the top. The document is made up of two columns of typed and handwritten text. On the right is information regarding the enslaved person and the enslaver, identified as [Feliciano Parés]. On the left is a column headed [FILIACION], listing physical descriptors of Eustaquio. Between the two columns is a narrow divider reading [REGISTRO DE ESCLAVOS - ISLA DE PUERTO RICO] in decorative printed text. The document is dated [19 de Febrero de 1870] and there are three signatures along the bottom.
