Description
Five paper clothing and sales tags, most of which are printed with brand names, from Mae's Millinery Shop. [1] is an oval shaped tag with red and blue ink on the edge, in the middle is the printed text [New York Paris / Mr. John / Classic]. The tag opens up and is hinged at the upper edge; a purple thread is looped through the left side. [2] is an oval shaped tag with a black border, in the middle is the printed text [New York Paris / Mr. John / Moderne]. The tag opens up and is hinged at the upper edge; holes are punched on the left side. A handwritten number in blue ink is written on the interior. [3] is a circular white tag with black printed text [Georgi] and a punched hole on the left side. A number is handwritten on the reverse. [4] is a rectangular tag with clipped edges. It has no print except for a typed number on one side. [5] is a round paper tag with a tie cut punch and metal trim.
