A large ruffled bow of pink tulle is attached at the front of the hat form with a single layer of the tulle extending over the hat form and beyond its edge on the back side. Large pink sequins are sewn sporadically to the tulle. The interior of the hat form is lined in pale pink synthetic fabric. A length of elastic cord is sewn from one side to the other as a chin strap. A cream fabric label with black printed text reading "Mae Reeves / OF / PHILADELPHIA" is adhered to the interior center back of the hat form.
