Cream wool felt hat with white and gold embellishments designed by Mae Reeves. The hat has a low round crown and an asymmetrical brim that is shorter at the front and tilts upward on the proper right side. White synthetic net with gold metallic braid in the center is wrapped around the crown and gathered into a large pouf at the proper right side. The pouf is wrapped over the edge of the brim to the underside where it is formed into a circle with a large gold-toned oval metal button at the center. Cream veiling is attached along the back of the crown to extend beyond the brim at the back side. A cream fabric label with black printed text reading "Mae Reeves / OF / PHILADELPHIA" is adhered to the interior center back. A genuine wool stamp is in white ink at the interior center crown.
