- Description
- A cream wool fur felt cloche style hat designed by Mae Reeves. Panels of short black feathers are attached at each side of the hat. Single black feathers with a single black bead on the shaft of each feather are attached around the edges of each clustered feather panel, with some extending beyond the edge of the hat at the center front. White stiffener is sewn around the opening on the interior of the hat. A green stamp reading "Empress" with smeared illegible text below it is stamped on the interior crown of the hat. A fabric label with black printed text reading "Mae Reeves / OF / PHILADELPHIA" is adhered at the interior center back.
