- A flier advertising a performance of Roland Hayes at the Oakland Auditorium Theatre, Friday November 10, 1961. The flier features a large black-and-white photograph of Hayes, pictured from the shoulders up, his hands held in front of him in a prayer gesture. At the top left corner of the image is red text reading [The / High Priest / Of Song] Beneath the image is a block of black text on a pink background. Large text at the top reads [ROLAND HAYES TENOR] followed by the details of the performance and ticket sales below in smaller black text. The back has another black-and-white portrait of Hayes in the upper right corner along with a timeline with quotes from published reviews of previous performances. Text along the bottom reads [Auspices TODAY'S ARTISTS CONCERTS / Management: Arts Program, Assn. of American Colleges]. The flier is rectangular, but three of the four corners have been cut.
