- A document titled at the top "Memorandum." Written in a vertical column, the document lists names and monetary values. Some names have the notation "not Hired." On the reverse is written "Memorandum Negro hires 1794] in the center and "Bond for the year 1794" along the lower left side. The document is handwritten in black ink.
