This document is from a collection of financial papers related to the plantation operations of several generations of the Rouzee Family in Essex County, Virginia. The papers date from the 1790s through 1860.
Description
This single page document is titled on one side as "a/c for supporting chargeable negroes." The other side contains three entries listing "chargeable negroes" belonging to Mrs. A.B. Rouzee and supported by A.R. for the years 1811 to 1813 and the amount given for each year. Both sides are handwritten in black ink.
