- Description
- An accent storage cabinet with glass paneled doors from the Rock Rest Tourist Home. The cabinet is rectangular and squat in shape and is primarily constructed from wood with a dark, reddish, brown finish. Each cabinet door features a rectangular glass panel that shows the three interior shelves. The interior shelves and the interior surface of the wooden doors are painted black but are otherwise plain. The cabinet hardware includes brass hinges and a brass bolt lock that secures the cabinet doors. The cabinet’s carved cornice top overhangs the body of the cabinet. The rectangular top surface of cabinet is plain and is constructed form two equal sized pieces of wood. The back of the cabinet is a lighter tone, stained wood. It is constructed from two, equal sized, rectangular, wooden panels and held in place with flat head screws and wood nails.
