Description
A cream colored, upholstered wingback chair from the Rock Rest Tourist home. The chair has a dark wooden frame and is covered in cream colored upholstery with a red, yellow, and blue floral pattern. The flowers are connected by dark green leafy vines. The armchair has a padded backrest and upholstered scrolled arms. The backrest curves into flared wingbacks and widens slightly at the top. The vertical cushion seams on the padded chair back are sewn into a scallop pattern. The chair arms are flared outwards and the wood at the front ends are embellished with carved concentric circles at the hand rests. The bottom portion of the back chair legs flare slightly outwards while the front legs are straight. The dark wood frame of the chair is visible at the legs, the front of the arm rests, and along the front edges of the chair back. The underside of the seat is lined with black fabric. A blank paper form is stapled to the underside of the chair.
