- Description
- A straw hat from the Rock Rest Tourist Home. The hat is comprised of woven fiber bands that have been stitched together in a spiral pattern from the top of the crown to the edge of the brim. The hat is Stetson style with a wide brim that curves upwards on the sides and the back and a front dip. A woven fiber band shaped into a bow is stitched to the front of the crown. A row of small, eighteen (18) seashells have been stitched along the sides and back of the crown. The interior of the hat is plain with a rectangle of paper stitched to the top of the crown.
