Description
Twelve (12) Noritake dinner plates, pattern N1323 (ca. 1933), from the Rock Rest Tourist Home. Each plate has a white, round well at the bottom of the plate, surrounded by a wide cream band that runs around the lip of the plate. The lip is also decorated with five (5) yellow, dark pink, blue, and green floral sprays. The white center and cream band are divided with a thin, green scalloped band with yellow triangles. A second thin, green band with a gilt edge decorates the edge of the plates. The back base of the plate is white with a Noritake stamp. The backstamp is a green arabesque wreath with yellow fill and a large, arabesque, black [M] at the center. Black text stamped above and below the wreath reads [NORITAKE] at the top and [JAPAN] at the bottom.
