- A softcover copy of Africa Disturbed by Emory and Myrta Ross. The softcover book has an adhesive binding with six sections stitched together. The front cover is dominated by an illustration of a man's face. His head is partially turned towards the left edge of the book, and he is looking at the viewer. To the right of the man’s head is an illustration of a city with gridded streets and tall buildings. On the left side is a rural village with grass huts and wooden rafts floating near the bank of a river. The title of the book, [AFRICA / DISTURBED], and the author’s names, [Emory and Myrta Ross], are printed in white text of varying fonts and sizes at the top center. The spine of the book is blue with black text with the title of the book and the author’s last name. The publisher’s initials, [FP], for Friendship Press, is printed at the bottom of the spine above its illustrated logo of an open book. The back cover of the book is blue and features two large black-and-white photographs of the authors as well as a short authors’ biography printed in white text to the left of the stacked images.
