- A first edition, hardcover edition of Robert F. Kennedy: Promises to Keep written by Robert F. Kennedy, with an introductory note by Ted Kennedy. It is a cloth bound hardcover book with a sewn binding and adhesive binding. The book’s paper dust jacket features a color photograph of Kennedy is standing in front of a building with large glass windows. Kennedy is depicted from the thighs up, standing in profile, with his body turned towards the spine edge of the book. His hands are in his suit pants pockets and he is looking downwards. Kennedy wears a gray suit, gray tie, and a white dress shirt. Between Kennedy and the building is a white panel with long black diagonal lines. White text printed at the top reads [Robert F. Kennedy: / Promises To Keep / With an Introductory Note by Edward M. Kennedy]. Printed on the jacket spine is the full title of the book at the top, and the name of the publisher, [Hallmark], printed at the bottom. The back of the dust jacket is white. Printed at the top is the text [From Robert F. Kennedy: Promises to Keep] followed by a three paragraph quote from that book printed in black text divided by a thin blue line. The front and back covers are covered in variegated blue cloth. Embossed in silver on the front cover, at the top center, is the title of the book [Robert F. Kennedy: / Promises To Keep], above small text that reads [HALLMARK EDITIONS]. The text is framed above and below with two bands of fourteen five-pointed stars. The back cover is plain. The book title, [Robert F. Kennedy: Promises To Keep], is printed in silver text at the center of the spine, and framed on either side with a single five-pointed star. The interior pages are white with black text, color photographs of Kennedy, and a timeline of Kennedy’s speaking engagements. The book has 61 pages.
