Description
A hardcover copy of The Standard Manual for Baptist Churches by Edward T. Hiscox, D.D. The hardcover clothbound book is black with gold leaf text and design elements. The top half of the front cover features the title of the book printed in gold leaf text that reads [THE / STANDARD MANUAL / FOR / BAPTIST CHURCHES]. Below is a small illustration of a cross pattée with three rays extending outwards between each set of arms. At the center of the front cover is the name of the author printed in gold leaf text that reads [EDWARD T. HISCOX, D.D.]. Printed in gold leaf on the spine is the title of the book and the last name of the author at the top, and another cross pattée at the center. The back cover is plain. The interior pages are white with black text. Handwritten blue ink text at the top of the front pastedown reads [Clayton Sinclair / Harbor Road / Kittery Point / Maine]. Throughout the book are several [x] marks written in pen noting various passages. The book has 174 pages.
