Description
An Ebony magazine, June 1964, featuring the cover article, “Annual Vacation Guide: New York World’s Fair,” Vol. XIX No. 8. The front cover features a color photograph of cover models Dolph Prince, Pat Prince, Jeffrey Curtis, and Gail Samuels at the 1964 New York World’s Fair. The group standing in front of a large, metal globe. Dolph Prince and Pat Prince are standing next to each other with a young girl, Gail Samuels, in between. A young boy, Jeffrey Curtis, stands in front of Dolph Prince and Prince’s hands are resting on Curtis’s shoulders. In the bottom right corner is the main cover line printed in white text that reads, [ANNUAL / VACATION / GUIDE: / New York / World’s / Fair]. In the upper left corner is the publication mast head, a red banner with white block lettering that reads: [EBONY]. Above the mast head is black text that reads [A JOHNSON PUBLICATION 6[encircled]]. In the lower left corner, in white text, is the publication date and price: [JUNE 1964 / USA 50¢]. The back cover of the magazine features a full sized advertisement for Marlboro cigarettes. There are two hundred and eighteen (218) interior pages with color and black-and-white images, illustrations, and text.
