- Description
- A black-and-white photograph of a woman riding a mule. She is depicted on the right side of the image, sitting side saddle, with her face turned towards the viewer. She is wearing a light-colored, collared dress and a white hat with a banded crown, and a wide brim. The donkey is depicted facing the viewer in profile, facing the left edge of the photograph. The woman and the donkey are posing in front of a low brick building with boarded up windows. On the left side of the image are two (2) women and a young boy standing next to a pile of straw bags. One woman holds a straw basket. The photograph has a white frame. On the verso is a repeating embedded pattern that reads [KODAK / VELOX / PAPER].
