Description
A program for a performance by Harry James, Nina Simone, Buddy Rich, John Byner, and Ruth Price at the Place Des Arts in Montreal. Black ink on white paper. The program consists of black text on off-white paper. On the cover is a black and white photograph of HarryJames playing the trumpet. Beneath the photograph, text reads [HARRY JAMES / and his / NEW SWINGIN' BAND / NINA SIMONE / and her quartet / BUDDY RICH / World's Greatest Drummer / JOHN BYNER / Comedy sensation / of the Ed Sullivan TV Show / and / RUTH PRICE / SUNDAY OCTOBER 4, 1964 - PLACE DES ARTS, MONTREAL]. The interior of the program has brief biographical sketches of James and Simone in both English and French, as well as a performance schedule for the 1964-1965 season at Place Des Arts, and several advertisements. The back cover is grey with [SAISON / 1964-1965 / SEASON] in the center surrounded by decorative elements in a wreath shape.
