- Description
- A black-and-white photograph of a man wearing a denim jacket with [Alabama / God-Damn] written across the back. A Confederate flag has been stitched onto the jacket in the center between the words. The man has his back to the camera, with his face turned slightly to the right so he is visible in profile. He also wears a light-colored, brimmed hat and dark sunglasses. Pinned to the hat is a round black and white pinback button reading [MARCH ON WASHINGTON] at the top, [APRIL 17, 1965] at the bottom, and [END / THE WAR / IN / VIET NAM] in the center. At bottom left is the photographer's signature [SPIDER MARTIN © 1995]. There are no additional inscriptions, front or back.
