- Description
- A black and white stereograph photograph of West Point cadets standing at attention with stacked rifles in front of them. At far left, standing behind the front row of white cadets, is African American cadet Henry O. Flipper. Tents and trees are in the background. The stereograph is rectangular in shape with two identical square albumen photographs attached to a piece of orange cardboard. Printed in black on the left side of the card is “VIEWS AT WEST POINT. / G.W. Pach, Photographer, 858 Broadway, N.Y.” Printed in black on the right side of the card is “Hudson River Scenery." Handwritten on the back of the card at center is “Cadet Flipper / 2nd row / U. S. Military Academy / West Point.”
