- A hard cover string bound 176 page book (a) written by Althea Gibson and edited by Ed Fitzgerald about the life and tennis career of Althea Gibson, the first black woman to win Wimbledon and the U.S. Open. The paper wrap around jacket (b) is printed on the cover in the top third with a blue background with black text on the left side [ALTHEA GIBSON], there is a black and white bust photograph of Althea Gibson. In the middle third [I always wanted to be Somebody] appears in white on a black background, and the bottom third is black and white text on a red background. The verso features a white background with black text and a black and white photograph of Gibson playing tennis
