Description
A circular pinback button with an image of American jockey Willie Simms. The button has a white background with black type above the image of Simms that reads: [SIMS, (sic) CELEBRATED AMERICAN JOCKEY.]. The center of the pin features the image of Simms wearing a white shirt with a blue stripe and white hat. The back of the pin has a label for The Whitehead & Hoag Company that has black type that reads: [THE / WHITEHEAD &HOAG CO. / NEWARK, N.J. / PATENTED / JULY 17, 1894. / April 14, 1896.] and a metal fastener.
