- Description
- Black and white photograph of two young African American girls, the one in the foreground is standing in front of a clothsline with a white sheet hung behind her. She is looking at the camera. Behind the clothesline and white sheet the second girl is visible, but only the top of her head and eyes. The image was captured in 1962 but was printed from the original negative in 2009. The photographic print is signed and dated by the photographer, George Krause, in ink on the recto.
