- Description
- The April 1956 issue of Ebony magazine. The cover features a full-sized color photograph of Thurgood Marshall and Cecelie Suyat on their honeymoon in the Virgin Islands. The couple is pictured smiling at center, Marshall in a blue tropical print shirt and Suyat in a blue tropical print dress, a resort and tropical flowers behind them. The headline at bottom right reads: "THURGOOD MARSHALL'S HONEYMOON" in white text set in a red square. At top left is the title "EBONY," also in white set in a red rectangle.
