- A striped pinback button promoting the African National Congress (ANC). The background colors, black, green, and yellow, are those of the ANC flag. [THE PEOPLE SHALL GOVERN!] appears in black text in the green stripe. [ANC] appears in black below this, in the center of the yellow segment. There are small stains around the rim and rust in the recesses of the metallic back. The back of the button has a metal fastener and clasp.
