Description
A single page letter from Countee Cullen to Carroll Wilson regarding books and a fellowship application sent to the Guggenheim Memorial Foundation. The letter is composed of typewritten text in black ink on off-white paper. It is printed on Opportunity: A Journal of Negro Life letterhead, which reads: [Opportunity / Journal of Negro Life / Published by the National Urban League / 127 East 23rd Street, New York City / Charles S. Johnson / Editor]. Below the letterhead, at left is [COUNTEE CULLEN / Assistant Editor] and at center is [April / 25 / 1928]. It is signed at bottom right, by hand, in black ink: [Countee Cullen].
