A black-and-white photograph of Moses Bowden by Lay Brothers Photography in Nashville, Tennessee. Bowden is facing forward and slightly left. He is wearing a dark color suit with a vertically striped shirt and a dark color tie. In his proper left pocket is a handkerchief with a dangling piece. The photograph has an oval outline, rectangular mat frame with a backing. At the bottom margin on the front of the mat is [Lay / NASHVILLE, TENN.]. On the back, the sitter's name in pencil [Moses Bowden].
