A black-and-white photograph of Dr. George W. Bugg taken by Lay Brothers Photography in Nashville, Tennessee. Bugg is captured from the chest up, turned slightly to the left. He is wearing a dark color suit with a light color shirt and dark color tie. There is a pin on the proper left flap of his suit. The photograph has an oval outline, rectangular mat frame with a backing. At the bottom margin on the front of the mat is [Lay / NASHVILLE, TENN.]. On back, the sitter's name in pencil [Dr. Geo. W. Bugg].
