- A cabinet card photograph of Blanch E. Townsend by Herstein Gallery. She is shown, unsmiling, in the center of the image facing slightly to the left of the camera. Her upper torso and head are visible. Townsend is wearing a high-collar garment with ruffles or bows at the shoulder and embellished trim. There is text for the Herstein's Centennial Gallery in Nashville, Tennessee at the bottom. The photograph has significant surface abrasions and fading. On the back of the photograph is a handwritten note in pencil [Miss Blanch E. Townsend / Winchester / Tenn.].
