- Description
- In black thermoplastic case with brass hinges and a gold medallion decoration and a purple lining is an ambrotype in a brass and paper preserver and mat of an African American woman with a white cap or headscarf in a patterned dress with a white collar and a brooch. The brooch setting is hand colored with gold paint. The girl, who seems to be about five years old, wears a checked dress with a pinafore and pantaloons. The girl wears a necklace, which is hand colored with red paint.
