Description
A glossy black and white photographic portrait of Fletcher Henderson with autograph. Henderson is pictures from the shoulders up with his body facing left and his head turned to look towards the camera. His proper right arm is bent in front as if leaning on something out of frame, his hand raised by his face. he wears a dark colored tuxedo jacket with white shirt, cuffs, and pocket square and dark colored bow tie and round cuff links. Inscribed in black ink on the left side of the image is [To Leo / With Best Wishes / Fletcher Henderson]. At the bottom right corner of the image is the photographer's mark: [Maurice / CHICAGO]. Printed beneath the image is [FLETCHER HENDERSON / And His Orchestra] on the left and [Exlusive Management / CONSOLIDATED RADIO ARTISTS, INC. / NEW YORK CHICAGO CLEVELAND HOLLYWOOD DALLAS / SAN FRANCISCO] on the right. An inscription on the back reads [A073969-35].
