Description
A booklet called "Expecting a Baby", published by the Virginia State Department of Health and dated 1958. The book has a pink cover, heavy paper with a linen finish, and is printed in black ink throughout. On the cover is an illustration of a woman cradling a baby. The interior is glossy paper with small illustrations scattered throughout. The contents include advice and instructions for pregnancy care, birth, and after care of baby and mother. The last page includes instructions for how to register a new baby with the State Health Department's Bureau of Vital Statistics. The back cover is blank with no printing or marks.
