- Description
- This black and white photograph shows members of the King family inside Ebenezer Baptist Church for Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday commemoration in 1969. Coretta Scott King is standing in the center of the photograph with Bernice and Alberta King standing to her right. Harry Belafonte is looking at the camera and standing with his arms crossed at proper left. There are unidentified attendees standing around the family. The background of the church is dark in the image and a light from press equipment is illuminated above Coretta Scott King. The back of the photograph has a manufacturer's mark, and handwritten and printer's inscriptions.
