- Description
- This black and white photograph shows the crowd inside Ebenezer Baptist Church for Martin Luther King Jr.'s 1969 birthday event. The ground floor and upper gallery seating are both visible. All visible seating in the picture on both floors is filled with the crowd. Evelyn Gibson Lowery and Jean Childs Young can be seen sitting in the crowd. The back of the photograph has a manufacturer's mark, photographer's stamp and a handwritten inscription.
