- Description
- This black and white photograph shows Rev. E. W. Lumpkin conducting members of the Interdenominational Theological Center Male Chorus at the commemorative service for Martin Luther King Jr. inside the Ebenezer Baptist Church. The camera is off center to the choir who are facing a crowd inside the church. The seated crowd directly in front of the camera are looking at the chorus while the crowd behing Lumkpin have their backs to the chorus. The interior of the church is visible, including organ pipes and stained glass windows in the proper upper left. The back of the photograph has a manufacturer's mark, photographer's stamp and a handwritten inscription.
