Description
A typewritten letter from James Baldwin to his mother, Berdis Baldwin. In the letter, Baldwin tells his mother that he is planning to return home in October after his book is published. Baldwin also refers to a letter that he sent to his sister, Paula, and asks his mother to interpret it for her.
