- Description
- An off-white conical-chaped Ku Klux Klan (KKK) hood with an attached back flap. The hood is made from a synthetic satin. Conical shape with back neck piece. Metal snap closures are sewn along the hem of the hood, indicating a removable face mask could be used by attaching it to these snaps.

- Objects depicting symbols of hate or related to organized hate groups may be offensive and disturbing, but the NMAAHC aims to include them in the Collection to present and preserve the historical context in which they were created and used.
