- Description
- The soldier angles his body towards the left frame of the image. He holds a Kevlar helmet in his hands and wears an uncovered helmet on his head while looking calmly into the camera. The label on his helmet's front reads "229." A rucksack with heavy straps forms an “X” across his chest and secures the backpack to his torso. It is probable that this soldier is a paratrooper (straps are secured to his legs as well). The left strap of the parachute backpack slightly obscures the ACU branch tape which reads "U.S.ARMY." The stripes of the U.S. flag are the background of this portrait.
