The portico is depicted as ruins with a piece of a fallen column in the foreground on the bottom center. Behind the portico, additional monuments and architecture can be seen. Below center to the right of the portico is a white graphic of the Olympic Stadium. At the top in the center is a block of red text and the logo of the 1960 Rome Olympics. The logo features the Olympic rings capped with a statue of the Capitoline Wolf and the date in Roman numerals. On the right side of the ticket is a stylized clock with the time at 3 o'clock and a white graphic of a track runner. Information about the event is printed in Italian above and below the image of the clock and runner. The reverse of the ticket features a black and white image of the Olympic Stadium.
