- Description
- A reproduced black and white image of Clifton Cushman, Glenn Davis, and Dick Howard on the medals podium after receiving their medals for the 400 Meter Men's Hurdles finals at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome. Cushman (silver) stands on the far left and leans in toward the other two, Davis (gold) stands in the middle and is raised above the other two on his platform. Howard (bronze) stands on the lowest platform on the far right. The three men stand facing the camera with their hands stacked one on top of the other in the middle of the image. All three wear dark colored track uniforms with the word [USA] on the front. The image is bordered by a narrow white edge. On the far left is a vertical line of text naming the men in the photo. In pen along the bottom are the medal awards for each person and stamped at the top in black ink is a date.
