- Description
- A color picture postcard featuring an aerial view of part of the city of Rome, Italy on the front. The view looks southeast with a number of notable Roman landmarks visible. The most prominent landmark is the Vittoriano, a large, white colonnaded structure in the foreground at the lower right quadrant of the postcard. The photo looks down the Via dei Fori Imperiali to the Colosseum, which appears in the upper left quadrant of the card. Also visible are the Santissimo Nome di Maria al Foro Traiano Church, Palazzo Valentini, and Trajan's Column (lower left), Capitoline Hill and the Roman Forum (behind the Vittoriano). The image is filled with the cityscape of Rome. The image is bordered in a narrow white edge.
