- Description
- A black-and-white photograph of a teenaged Carl Lewis competing in long jump. Lewis is depicted mid-jump, high in the air with his arms raised and his legs wide. He wears a light colored jersey with "Willingboro Chimeras" on the front and running shorts. The picture was captured outdoors, with track hurdles and trees in the background. On the back of the photo is a typed label that reads, "South Jersey Sectionals May 26, 1979. Below the label, stamped in red ink is "©1984 Dennis McDonald" and two additional photographer stamps with reproduction and contact information.
