- A handwritten bill of sale written in black ink detailing the sale of an enslaved girl named Sarah for $615.00 to Robert Watson in Columbus, Georgia. The document was written by a seller with the last name Pomroy whose first name is illegible. The front of the document reads: [Columbas March 30. 1836 / Rcd of Robert Watson Six hundred / and fifteen Dollars for a negro girl / named Sarah / The said Sarah is about fifteen years / old and perfectly sound and healthy / and I warrant the titles against all / persons whatsoever / [illegible] Pomroy]. The back of the document reads: [Pomroys Bill / of Sale of Sarah].
