- Description
- A printing plate of Portia Oliver featured in a Chicago Defender article from October 13, 1945. Oliver is pictured sitting down with her proper left side parallel to the image. Her head is turned toward the camera and her proper right arm is draped over a buoy that reads [Naval Supply Depot]. The back of the plate has an inscription that identifies the subject of the image.
