- A printed flier in various fonts announcing the NAACP National Youth Legislative Conference at American University in Washington, DC from February 3rd to 6th, 1955 sponsored by the NAACP. Participants will meet to discuss issues surrounding the challenges of integration and what the role of youth is and how they can approach Congress about their concerns.
- The flier is printed in black ink on white paper. In a decorative font at the top is [can youth meet.... / THE CHALLENGE OF INTEGRATION?]. At center is a picture of the U.S. Capitol building with [NAACP NATIONAL YOUTH / Legislative Conference] around it. Speakers include President Eisenhower, Adlai Stevenson, and Thurgood Marshall. Towards the bottom of the page is a rectangular section announcing conference attendees can attend a dance to meet Dorothy Dandridge, Pearl Primus and Harry Belefonte. There are no marks or inscriptions on the back.
