- Gelatin silver print full-length portrait of Prophet Noble Drew Ali, founder of the Moorish Science Temple of America. Against a studio landscape backdrop, Ali stands looking straight at the camera, his proper right hand held flat against the center of his torso and his left hand at his side. He wears a light colored tunic over loose trousers, with an oblong piece of striped fabric around his waist and an elaborately embroidered, dark colored sash over his proper right shoulder. The sash ends in a rectangular piece of fabric below his left hip, with fringing around the edges. He also wears a turban with a large, dark colored plume. At the bottom right corner, written by hand in the negative: [PROPHET NOBLE DREW ALI / FOUNDER OF MOORISH SCIENCE / TEMPLE OF AMERICA 1925 / R.O. JONES / PHOTO]. The verso has a numerical inscription in graphite at the top left corner.
