Wilbur "Bullet" or "Bullet Joe" Rogan was a hall of fame baseball player who served with the United States army in the Philippines. Rogan played pitcher and outfielder in the Negro baseball leagues for the Kansas City Monarchs from 1920 to 1938.
Description
Photographic postcard of Charles Wilbur Rogan standing in grassy, hilly field along with eleven other soldiers. Two of the soldiers are manning a machine gun while the others look on. The back of the photographic postcard is unused and has [POST CARD] printed in black at the top and blank spaces for [CORRESPONDENCE] and [ADDRESS]. In the upper right corner, there is a [ARTURA] stamp.
