- Description
- A "Back to Africa" meeting Ledger from Nobletown, Oklahoma. The green, cloth-bound ledger has the word "DAYBOOK" at the center of the cover surrounded by decorative scrollwork. Around the outside of the ledger book is a geometric decorative border. The ledger contains lists of attendees to the meetings as well as the amount of money they contributed to the movement and general meeting notes. A few of the meeting notes concern sending a delegate to a conference in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Entries are handwritten in both graphite and ink. The pages are yellowed with several creases and tears. Foxing can be found throughout the ledger.
