- Description
- This TIC Kit containing cannulae in various sizes was used by Dr. Ben Carson. The components of the TIC Kit are stored in a square stainless steel storage case (.1) with a perforated lid and base and metal handles on each side. The case opens at the front with a swivel latch and the top is hinged at the back. Inside the case the base is painted blue and there are gray and blue rubber and metal inserts for holding the components in place. The top of the lid has fragments of medical tape in several places. The word "TIC" is handwritten in large letters across the center of the lid. Text in handwritten black ink along the top edge of the lid reads "APPLiER-NEURO-[illegible]".
- The TIC Kit includes nineteen (19) cannulae in varying sizes painted different shades of green. There are four (4) 10mm cannulae (.3, .7, .14, .18) plus a fifth inside a case (.24). There are four (4) 7mm cannulae (.2, .8, .9, .15) plus a fifth inside a case (.25). There are four (4) 5mm cannulae and five (5) 2mm cannulae. The kit also includes three (3) TIC-SS solid stylets (.19, .20, .21). Two (2) TIC-TM temperature monitoring electrodes are not in sterilizing metal tubes (.22, .23) while two (2) additional TIC-TM temperature monitoring electrodes are in sterilizing metal tubes (.27, .29). There are two (2) empty sterilizing metal tubes (.26, .28). Four (4) electrode connecting cables (.30, .31, .32, .33) plus a fifth inside a sealed sterilizing case (.34) are also included. The kit has one (1) TEW-FA flushing adaptor.
