- Description
- A commemorative silver IAAF medal. The obverse and reverse both feature images and type in relief. The obverse features two shirtless men with jaw length hair holding spheres in the lower portion of the medal. A large clock tower, likely a representation of the Helsinki Central railway station, rises behind them. Running vertically next to the tower is the word [HELSINKI]. The reverse features two full body male figures in running poses, depicted passing a relay baton between them. Vertical type between them reads [MM 1983].
